Dr. Anivat Ai Pun

Dr. Anivat Ai Pun is a General Surgeon with extensive experience in both elective and emergency surgeries. He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine from the University of Southampton (United Kingdom) and earned his Doctor of General Surgery from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM).

With more than 12 years of experience in surgical practice, Dr. Anivat is a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland. He also serves as a clinical teacher at AIMST University, where he mentors medical students and young doctors in surgical techniques and patient management.

Beyond his hospital work, Dr. Anivat volunteers at the Dhammakaya Meditation Centre, participating in community health and wellness programs that reflect his commitment to compassion and mindfulness in medicine.

Dr. Anivat believes that surgery is more than a technical procedure — it is an act of trust and healing. His approach to patient care focuses on clarity, safety, and empathy. He ensures that patients and their families fully understand their diagnosis and treatment options, so they can make informed decisions with confidence.

During surgery and recovery, Dr. Anivat prioritises meticulous attention to safety, minimising risks, and providing close follow-up support to help patients recover smoothly and regain their quality of life.
